CARICOM Accredited

4 Year Medical Doctorate

CAHSU stands of “Central America Health Sciences University”. The campus is basically 2 large buildings in the middle of nowhere, Belize. I like to joke that anyone with a pulse and a paycheck can get into foreign medical school. The school doesn’t think it’s so funny though. Truth is, the application process is simpler, but getting out is the real trick. Luckily for you, we’ve got your back.

CAHSU’s MD (Medical Doctorate) Program is an Accelerated four year Degree, Belize is an English speaking country and the tuition costs are affordable. The degree is Internationally Accepted, WHO Recognized, MCI Approved and ECFMG Certified.

Licensure

Upon Graduation, you can start teaching as an doctor, elect for Post Graduate courses or continue on to get your Medical License in the United States or elsewhere. CAHSU’s MD degrees are internationally accepted. You can work in any country you wish, providing you can secure a visa and pass the entrance exams. I would recommend taking USMLE and getting a US Medical License, then using that to skip exams by secure a reciprocal license in another country so you can jump back and forth as you wish.

Location

Belize is a beautiful English speaking country in Central America with a pleasant tropical climate. Your first two years of medical school (called Basic Sciences) will be at our private campus in Belize.

After completing your Basic Sciences, you will spend the final two years of your MD Degree, (called Clinical Rotations) in the USA, Dubai, Mexico, Africa or Nepal, depending on your preference. You can also do Clinical Rotations in Canada, UK, Australia, Mexico and many other destinations. Personally, I’m a travel bug so I hit Nepal and India. Training was hands on. Price was right. The chicks are hot. Everest was amazing.

Basic Sciences

YEAR 1 & 2

Our private campus in Belize accommodates around 100-150 students. The majority of our student body is Indian. We have American, Canadian, Belizean and African students as well. The cultural emersion and international connections students receive is one of the main benefits of our University. During Basic Sciences students attend lectures, take notes, give PowerPoint presentations in an English medium to their peers and study for weekly exams.

BANGED YOUR MOM

Sup. I’m Mike. Traveled to 33 countries on 5 continents. Born in New York, raised in Nashville. Bit of a high functioning, lovably sarcastic asshole. Christian. Trump Supporter. No apologies. Before Medical School I wore a handful of other uniforms. In high school, I was a Lifeguard, Fire Fighter and EMT. After high school I went to Philmont, New Mexico and became a Ranger in the Boy Scouts of America. During my Undergrad at RIT in New York, I was in Army ROTC (where I had a colorful exchange with a butch Lieutenant Colonel my first week). The next few years didn’t go so well as a result. I worked summers as a White Water Rafting Guide on the Ocoee River. After the Army I joined the MD Program in Central America. At first I thought it was a scam and my first week I was pretty shell shocked by the laid back Caribbean culture fresh out of the New York/Army lifestyle. You’ll see what I mean. Stick it out. It grows on you. While doing my Internal Medicine Clinical Clerkship in Kathmandu Nepal, I was blessed to be able to trek to Mount Everest. I have always lived a blessed life and I am thankful for the opportunity that CAHSU has afforded me. I look forward to sharing that opportunity with you.
